DEGREES & INSTITUTIONS

Duly chartered or accredited colleges and universities

Accelerated Online Degree Programmes are offered both by traditional and by distance education colleges and universities, located in the United States of America and to some extent in the UK and other member countries of the Commonwealth as well as in a few other countries.

The majority of higher learning institutions offering Accelerated Online Degree Programmes is located in the United States. Students who are not working with a qualified advisor are cautioned to be wary of fraudulent US 'schools', often referred to as diploma mills.

Colleges and universities which are considered by our consultants meet the following duly examined criteria:

Licensed to operate as a degree granting institution of higher learning
(not just as a business entity) by the governmental authorities in charge
Chartered or accredited, where appropriate, by a recognized national
  or regional authority

There is also a very small number of unaccredited, yet decent US schools, properly licensed and in operation for a long time, which are occasionally recommended by our consultants. Saying this, it should be noted that in the United States accreditation is an entirely voluntary process. However, with the exception of a handful of institutions, proper accreditation is always a pre-requisite to be considered by our consultants.

As to the number of different jurisdictions and frequently changing licensing laws, it is very difficult for the layman to determine whether a given institution operates legally or not. This is one of the reasons why you may want to work with a qualified degree consultant.

Almost any degree available

Almost every undergraduate or graduate degree programme that you can take on campus is also available in a non-traditional learning mode. Beside this, there is a growing number of non-traditional doctoral programmes which tend to be professionally rather than academically orientated.
